James and I first visited this (at the time) sleepy Mexican cruise port more than a decade ago and we're thrilled to see it continue to develop and expand. That's why I was so excited to see two separate - but linked announcements recently, that Royal Caribbean was buying the Costa Maya Cruise Port and that they were also building out a new private vacation destination experience exclusive to their guests so that they can deliver a similar experience to what they do with their industry-leading "Perfect Day at CocoCay". ### Questions No answer selected. Otherwise, there is frankly plenty of land for them to build out on land as well as potentially construct a new cruise ship pier.  This Mahahual location offers an ideal setting for those looking to improve their cruise experience with a taste of the vibrant Mexican Caribbean.
